This amber necklace was given to my mother over 60 years ago as a souvenir from the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe by an acquaintance who worked at a newspaper. She had several pieces, and later had a necklace and pendant top combined into a custom-made piece, which she loved very much. She especially praised the space next to the magnetic clasp, which made it easy to handle. It wasn't that she was clumsy, but that she couldn't exert much force with her fingertips as she got older. Both the pendant top and the chain are semi-antique. She cherished it, but as her body became thinner and she shrank, she stopped wearing it, saying, "Unfortunately, I'm overwhelmed by the power of this amber." It was one of her collection pieces, but she asked me to list it on Mercari. - Color: Cognac - Material: Genuine amber - Design: A teardrop-shaped pendant top with two vertical curves in the center, connected with wild, tumbled genuine amber. Photos 3, 4, 5... Photos where the two vertical curve cuts on the teardrop shape are relatively easy to see. Photo 6... The top part is also thick. Maximum value is about 1cm. Photos 8-13... With off-white, black, patterned, collared, and collarless clothes. As an example of how easy it is to match with any of them. Photos 13, 15... It lets light through very beautifully. Photos 14-18... Sizes of each part. Photo 18... Space on both sides of the clasp for easy handling. Photo 19... There are two imprints, and it looks like there are Cyrillic characters, but I can't read them because my eyesight is poor. It has been used and stored with care, so there are no noticeable scratches or stains, but I think there is some aging from the passage of time. It's a piece that will become an antique if I try a little harder, so I hope it will reach someone who loves vintage and antique items.
