I purchased and used this item several years ago. There are noticeable black marks and stains. I took the photos in a bright place, so they might not be very clear in the pictures, but the actual item has a considerable amount of wear and tear, including black marks and stains. I don't think there are any scratches or damage that would hinder everyday use. I feel that the first photo is the closest to the actual color, but please understand that there may be individual differences in how colors appear.
