LE MONT ST MICHEL French vintage crazy patchwork black moleskin jacket from Mont Saint Michel. A very old piece, likely from the 1930s. The entire jacket has been darned and patched with repairs. In addition to the original hand repairs, it appears to have been repaired by a dealer. This jacket was obtained from Richard, who runs PROPOSITION, and has been repaired by him. As a work based on a 1930s Mont Saint Michel, it is a valuable and special piece, especially considering Richard's reputation as a charismatic dealer. All the fabrics and buttons are old French ones. The buttons are also varied, including papier-mâché and old resin buttons with different colors. The embroidered tag from the 1930s Mont Saint Michel has a great atmosphere. It's an older design than the so-called yellow tag.
