This guitar effects pedal automatically cuts unwanted "hissing" noise, such as that produced by high-gain distortion, below a set volume (threshold). It features a hard/soft mode switch and a threshold adjustment knob, allowing for everything from silent muting that preserves natural sustain to tight cuts suitable for heavy metal. Almost unused.
