This is the "Hydrophilic Coating Filter (Black)" (＊) that I purchased from Tsuhan Seikatsu (around 8,000 yen at the time). (＊) It's made by coating a hydrophilic paint (ceramic-based) on the filter fabric (aluminum). It has a property of easily blending with hot water, allowing oil stains to be removed with water or hot water washing. When immersed in water or lukewarm water, water penetrates between the hydrophilic coating on the filter surface and the oil stains, and washing with a sponge easily removes the dirt. I replaced my range hood and no longer need this, but it was a "good product," so I'm offering it for continued use. I believe Tsuhan Seikatsu no longer carries it, so I hope those interested will consider it. It has been cleaned, so you can install it directly (outer dimensions are roughly 297 x 342).
