This pendant lamp was used for display in a model apartment. The entire shade is encased in a transparent acrylic sphere. The shade, connected by a ball chain, appears to float in mid-air. The reflective surface mirrors the blue and red accents on the top and bottom, emitting a mystical light. True to its name, "Globe = Earth," it evokes the image of a planet. This beautiful piece, which offers enjoyment even when unlit, is one of Verner Panton's masterpieces, reflecting his pursuit of new forms of lighting. Lamp: Sold separately.
