This is a new Switchcraft mono jack combined with cross-wire shielded with mesh wire. This construction is more resistant to noise than conventional cross-wire-only wiring. Especially, shielding the wire connected to the jack at the final output section provides a high level of effectiveness. The mesh wire section is all ground, but it is insulated to prevent short circuits caused by the ground touching during installation. It is made approximately 24cm long so that it can be used for Stratocasters and Telecasters, but it can also be made to your desired length. However, if it becomes considerably longer, the price will change, so please inquire. Switchcraft jacks can be installed on Japanese-made guitars without modification.
