The Aristocrat 265 was a cornet released by the Buescher company in the mid-1930s, and was a premium model branded as "Aristocrat Custom Built." It was positioned as a high-end version of the basic model of the Aristocrat series (commonly known as "Aristocrat") that Buescher was developing at the time, and was positioned as a top-grade model for professionals. Compared to the standard Aristocrat (baseline model), the 265 model had a higher grade in terms of finish and design, featuring luxurious specifications such as a silver-plated finish with gold-plated engraving and a gold-washed bell (gold-plated inside the bell). The catalog at the time stated that "the perfectly balanced design of the bore (inner diameter of the tubing) and taper achieves a true cornet tone," indicating that it was made with an emphasis on the traditional cornet tone and playing feel, rather than a unique shape. This particular instrument also has a very luxurious construction, as described above, with beautiful engraving, gold accents, and a rim on the bell. In addition, it is equipped with a standard 3rd valve slide ring, which is rare for instruments of that era, making it easier to correct intonation. It has a small bell with a tone that seems suitable for playing in brass bands, marching bands, jazz, etc., and produces a very clear sound. The airtightness is excellent, like new. The fit is so tight that it's almost too tight, suggesting that it was hardly used. It's in a condition that can be called a miracle for an instrument of this age. The surface plating is perfectly preserved. The satin finish is also finely preserved. There are very small dents on the mouthpiece and bell, but they do not affect the use at all. Repair should be easy. I have taken as many photos as possible, so please take a close look. Modern mouthpieces such as Denis Wick and Bach can be used. Please note that it is not a trumpet shank. It's about 90 years old, but the intonation balance and tone are excellent, and it's an instrument that allows you to feel a warmth different from modern instruments.
