This is a Wajima-nuri jubako (lacquered food box). It features a refined inner vermilion and black lacquer with a graceful plum blossom maki-e design. There is a faded inscription on the back, but otherwise, it is in generally good condition with only minor storage scratches. The dimensions are 20 cm per side and 19.4 cm in height. Please note that this is an antique item.
