The board itself is made of paper, so the dolls and parts don't stick to it, but as shown in the photos, you can use the dolls by standing them against a wall, or you can stick the parts to your refrigerator or a magnetic board at home to play pretend. Two corners of the cardboard have a slight wrinkle, but overall there are no noticeable stains or damage, and I think it can still be enjoyed.
