Geta / Genuine Tatami Omote, Paulownia Wood, Hon-Ten Hanao Unused Length: Approximately 23cm Width: Approximately 9cm Heel: Approximately 5cm These are geta that combine a paulownia wood base with a tatami omote (surface). The thong (hanao) features a chic color scheme of a pale moss green and young leaf green combination, with a reddish-brown maetubo (the part that goes between the toes) as an accent color. The material is a soft and comfortable Hon-Ten (velvet) that provides a gentle feel and a non-slip effect. The wide width of approximately 2.5cm fits the foot well and feels gentle. The soles are made of rubber, making them comfortable to wear for long periods and preventing noise. I purchased these but have kept them in storage without wearing them. They are suitable for casual Japanese attire throughout the year, as well as for Western clothing or everyday wear.
