About the paint: It is coated twice with a water-based stain material that complies with the Food Sanitation Act. The surface has a rough feel. As it is a handmade item, the finish is rough. If you are looking for perfection, please consider an official product. It is laser-cut, and the tar has been removed, but there may be some remaining tar or discoloration due to burning. Some adhesive is used. Assembly instructions: Insert both sides into the feet, then insert the support posts to complete. The feet have a direction; insert them so that the longer side faces the back when inserted. If the feet parts are loose, we recommend fixing them with glue. There should be no particular problem with use if you place it in a fixed position.
