This is a Hokkaido brown bear fur. I received it from a hunter in Shiretoko and had it tanned by Wakmatsu Fur in southern Hokkaido. I believe it's difficult to obtain brown bear fur these days. Tanning brown bear fur has become very expensive, costing around 30,000 yen for this size a few years ago. I haven't used it since it was tanned. Due to the nature of fur, some shedding may occur. The size is approximately 9.2 tsubo (a unit of area, roughly equivalent to 30.4 square meters). Thank you.
