This is a rather old Amehata suzuri (inkstone). It was used by my great-grandfather or his predecessor, so I believe it was made before the war. While there are scratches, cracks, and ink stains, please understand that it is an old item. Amehata suzuri are usually made of jet-black stone, but this one is unusual, with whitish streaks and brown areas.
