This is a Peruvian wooden doll purchased for 3850 yen at the Kogeisha in Yokohama. I am selling it as a set of two. These wooden toys are made in Huancayo, a town located past a mountain pass 4,843 meters high from Lima, the capital of Peru. It is a rare wooden doll, as it is currently made by only one family, and the ones with arms are said to be unusual. It is the same doll that is in the collections of Keisuke Serizawa and Saro Yuzuki. It has been carefully stored in a place away from direct sunlight.
