There are some minor scratches and dirt due to age, but there are no functional problems. All four strings have been replaced with new ones. Adjusters have been added to all four strings, making tuning very easy. Accessories include a bow with plenty of horsehair, a hard case, and rosin (pictured in photo 16). Before use, rub the surface of the rosin with sandpaper or similar to create powder, and apply the powder thoroughly to the bow hair. Otherwise, the violin will not produce a good sound.
