At the craft booths in the convention hall, Boso-san's numerous bows and fabrics were always displayed, and they sold out in a flash every time. Since the pandemic, it's been difficult to go to Hawaii, and with the recent weak yen, Hawaii has become even more distant. I purchased this bow and fabric directly from Boso-san at the event. I'm assuming you know about Boso-san, so I'll skip the explanation. It's a thinner cotton fabric than the fabric used for pa'u skirts. I believe this is a rare piece, as it's difficult to purchase now. The works from that time did not have the current one-point Honu (turtle) dye. Since it's a pareo, it doesn't have the same yardage as a pa'u skirt. I hope you can use it for hula lessons or Tahitian dance lessons. 1
