This is a roughly woven fabric called "Southern Cross." It's a type of "fancy weave" with a cross pattern on the surface, resembling the Southern Cross constellation. Woven on a dobby loom, it has a moderate firmness and body, making it durable and easy to handle. Ideal for cushion covers, furoshiki (wrapping cloths), tote bags, and more, taking advantage of the large pattern. 110 x 100cm Please allow for slight variations due to cut-to-order sales. A large, auspicious pattern is scattered across the fabric. The base color is navy blue. Because of the large pattern, I've photographed it spread out so you can see the whole design. Photos 1 and 2 show the front and back while hung on a hanger. Cotton fabrics may have some ink skipping or fabric peeling due to unevenness such as fiber clumps (slubs and neps). There also seems to be some mixing of different weaving yarns in the process, and there was a small white spot on this fabric. Please refer to photo 8. There may be print distortions (not printed parallel to the fabric), distortions in the cut edges, loose threads, and fold wrinkles.
