Metal is used for the mouthpiece receiver (mouthpiece insertion point), which is subject to wear, for excellent durability. The water key and main/F tuning slides are also movable, providing the minimum functionality expected of a plastic wind instrument. I purchased this used for an event, but it is no longer needed, so I am putting it up for sale. How about it for various events, outdoor performances, those starting to play an instrument as a hobby, or for children's club practice at home? In addition to the included mouthpiece (around 6 1/2), I've included a practice plastic mouthpiece and a slightly larger, deeper Playtech mouthpiece. Since the genuine soft case felt a bit flimsy, I've also included a slightly more robust soft case. The instrument itself has some scratches and paint peeling, but it is still in good condition.
