My fifth-grade daughter used this coat. She liked that it reached about her bottom and had cinched sleeves, and that it was thick. Because it's thick, it's warm and perfect for going to school or going out. The hood's fur is removable. There are no noticeable stains or frays, but it has been stored in a home closet. We do not have any dogs, cats, or other pets.
