"3M THINSULATE" refers to products, especially gloves, that use "Thinsulate™," a high-performance insulation material developed by 3M in the United States. Thinsulate is a thin and lightweight material with high heat retention. It's a portmanteau of "Thin" and "Insulate." This material is often used in cold-weather gear like gloves because its fine fibers trap a lot of air, making it difficult for heat to escape.
