Tajima Glass Co., Ltd. was founded in 1956 by Matsutaro Tajima, a specialized manufacturer of handmade glass. The sophistication and skill unique to the "Edo Kiriko" manufacturer, who is well-versed in the materials, shines through. Edo Kiriko involves drawing horizontal and vertical lines on the glass as a guide for the pattern, and then using industrial diamonds to cut the glass and create the design.
