I think it will be ready to play immediately. I purchased this because Chet Baker used a Constellation. The pistons and tuning slides move smoothly. No sticking. There are no major dents, but there are small scratches that are not visible in the photos, which feel slightly rough to the touch. See photos. In my subjective opinion, it's not noticeable. The color of the 1st piston button is slightly different, so the previous owner may have replaced it with a similar color. It will be delivered in the original CONN hard case with a key. Please judge the condition from the photos. I was using it actively, but I disassembled it to prevent it from sticking and it has been in the case for a long time, so it has a tarnished silver color. You can polish it with a cloth to remove the tarnish if you prefer. This is a vintage instrument. There are minor scratches associated with its vintage age.
