This coat uses pile melton fabric made with Super 100's wool. It features a firm, substantial feel and a warm texture, with beautiful color development. Even without a lining, it has a good thickness, providing warmth and a light feel, making it a pleasure to wear. I wore it for one season, but I haven't worn it since I bought another coat, so I'm offering it to someone who will wear it often. There are no noticeable stains. The design is intentionally unfinished, so the fraying is part of the original design. The actual color is closer to the color worn by the model.
