I was still cooking rice without the timer, but I kept forgetting to start the cooking process, which was inconvenient, so I bought a new rice cooker. When listing this item, I tried the timer function today, and it was working. I cannot guarantee the timer function, so I will have to state that timer cooking is not possible. This rice cooker cooks rice more deliciously than my new one. I baked cakes in it many times. The outer box will be from my new rice cooker, so it says "Tiger" on it.
