Handmade double bed cover made with Kasuri fabric. It's new Kurume Kasuri, vintage fabric, and one type of checkered Shijira-ori fabric. It's entirely hand-sewn, with drop quilting between the fabrics. Some Sashiko stitching is included. It's just been completed. To avoid making it heavy and bulky, no batting is used between the top and lining. The ninth image shows the lining (cotton).
