During the Cold War, the U.S. Navy's fleet operations were not solely supported by combat missions. This UH-3H "SEAKING" was a VIP TRANSPORTER, used to transport fleet command personnel and guests. Based on the reliable SH-3 series, the UH-3H, equipped and designed for personnel transport, played an indispensable role in the smooth command and operation of the fleet, although it was not a glamorous presence on the front lines. This kit is made by Hasegawa and is a 1/48 scale model that reproduces the UH-3H's aircraft shape with impressive detail.
