I purchased it over 10 years ago at a Patagonia specialty store. The inner lining is made of fleece. It has been washed at home. There is some pilling due to age. We do not have any pets, and there are no smokers in our home. I have loved Patagonia since my student days, and my two daughters wore this hat.
