Zori are most comfortable when the heel slightly extends beyond the edge. The feeling against bare feet is wonderful and also good for the foot's pressure points, promoting health. I use them as slippers and can't live without them. All the remaining threads from the body and thong are woven into the back, so the texture is firm, but they appear slender.
