I obtained boxwood (tsuge) from Mikurajima and carved a netsuke of a horse, the zodiac animal for the year of the Fire Horse (2026). It's a talismanic horse, only the upper part of the horse (taking away "ma" = warding off evil). Onyx, a natural stone, was set in the eyes (4mm, 2 pieces).
