My waist is around 75cm, and while I could tighten it with the Velcro, I thought it might become loose if I lost weight, so I decided to buy an XS. The sizing tends to run large due to it being a foreign manufacturer, so I think an XS would be better for trainees with a waist size of 65-75cm.
