I purchased it used. The mouthpiece is also from the same brand. The pistons and slides move smoothly, with no sticking. The spit valve button is a button type, unlike the water key found on standard trumpets. I play the French horn, but I'm not very good at high notes, and I couldn't play them as well as I'd like.
