This is upcycled fabric made from an old nagajuban (long undergarment), which has been unpicked, washed, and ironed. I suspect the material is cotton mixed with something else, but I can't tell for sure. However, it's not see-through. It's a piece of fabric made by joining together: 4 pieces of 24 x 80 cm (approx.) 2 pieces of 15 x 80 cm (approx.) Please understand that this is vintage fabric before purchasing. There may be loose threads, needle holes, fraying, etc. Embrace the good old days...
