A series of mysterious murders of beautiful young girls is occurring, and a suspicious religious group that claims to trap misfortune in a box is gaining momentum. Detective Enokizu, writer Sekiguchi, journalist Atsuko, and Detective Kiba, each pursuing their own mysteries, gather at Kyogokudo's to uncover the truth. This is the second film adaptation of Natsuhiko Kyogoku's best-selling series. Shinichi Tsutsumi reprises his role as the protagonist, Kyogokudo, following the previous film, and Hiroshi Abe, Hiroyuki Miyasako, and Rena Tanaka also return.
