After that, his daughter Miyako took over, and later she and her husband Kinji continued to create them, but they are now out of business. This is a clay figurine of "Kyozobo," based on a folktale from Tottori Prefecture. Kyozobo was a messenger for the lord, and he served the duty of traveling between Tottori and Edo in three days, but he died in Saku, caught in a trap of a burning rat that was used to catch a bad fox.
