Effect: The magician takes out a pair of the same color cards (e.g., Q of Hearts and Q of Diamonds) from the deck and has a spectator examine them. Next, two spectators are asked to select cards and sign their names on the face of the cards. The first spectator's card is placed face up, and the second spectator's card is placed face down, in the center of the deck. The Q of Hearts and Q of Diamonds are picked up, shown to be only two cards, and set aside. "You (first spectator) had your card face up, and you (second spectator) had yours face down, right?" The magician confirms, and then spreads the deck to reveal the first signed card face up in the center. "This card will fly!" the magician says, and squares the deck, snapping their fingers.
