I thought it was interesting, like the difference between the ANALOG.MAN Sunface Fuzz NKT275 White Dot and Red Dot. It's well-known that germanium transistors have significant individual variations, but this is a real winner in my opinion. The regular Myriad Fuzz tends to have too much low-end, especially with humbuckers, resulting in a lack of definition and a muddy low-frequency response, which was disappointing. However, this unit has a more restrained low-end up to around 10 o'clock on the Gain knob, making it sound good with both humbuckers and single-coil pickups. From around 1 o'clock, it distorts heavily and thickly, just like a typical Myriad Fuzz, so the range of sound shaping is quite wide.
