Schott products generally use steerhide with the '600' model number, but this is a very rare discontinued model using oiled cowhide with the '100' model number. Compared to steerhide, the leather is softer, making it suitable for everyday wear, and it also shows aging more easily, making it a rewarding piece to own. The condition shows some wear and wrinkles typical of vintage leather materials, but it is a USED item in good condition without any noticeable damage.
