The slot is then stripped of old plating and rust, and re-plated. The terminals are carefully inserted back into the slot one by one, and then attached to the board. This is very time-consuming. (See photo 3) ① Disassembled and cleaned (see photo 5) ② Capacitors with poor values replaced (see photo 6) Capacitors are consumables. Over time, some may leak. When leakage occurs, the screen may become dark or roll up and down. Replacing the capacitors will fix this. This happens with any Super Famicom, so choosing a product with capacitor replacement will make it last longer.
