This is a bridge specifically for Erquan Erhu, made by the renowned Erhu bridge maker, Peng Shuguang. It follows the style of the Song Fei model, with a base of aged, sunken wood (such as ebony or blackwood) that has been aged for at least several hundred years, topped with a knot of old pine. This bridge combines the transparency unique to pine knots with the stability of sunken wood. It is slightly larger than bridges for regular Erhu, and can also be used for regular Erhu.
