Edco copper foil tape for stained glass is a classic. I've used various types, but this is still the easiest to use, hands down. Even when blackening the solder, the copper-colored backing of the regular copper tape doesn't detract from the beauty of the glass, so this color is recommended for all but transparent clear glass. Whether the colored glass is transparent or opaque, the blackness won't bleed from the edges, and the sparkle won't be diminished, so please use the copper-colored (copper color) backing. The width is 5.6mm, which is ideal for 2mm to 4mm glass and is a very easy-to-use regular type.
