These shoes, in white and beige, can be worn by anyone, regardless of gender! The size is 18 in Japanese sizing, but they feel small. They are lace-up shoes, but the opening is wide thanks to Velcro, making them easy to put on. My child's feet are wide, so they didn't fit, and they were only worn for one day, so they are relatively clean. They have been home-cleaned. Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned, as these are shoes that go on the feet.
