This is a mouthpiece that Roger Ingram pursued his own ideas in. It is a signature model for Roger Ingram, who has been active as a lead trumpet player for Woody Herman, Harry Connick Jr., and others. The inner rim diameter size is about the same as a Bach 12. The rim is flat and slightly thick. The inner edge of the rim is slightly gentle. It has more edge than the MF model. The cup is a shallow V-cup shape, about the same as a Bach F. The throat is about #29. Like the Monette, Eric Miyashiro, and Bobby Shew models, the straight part of the throat is quite long, making high notes particularly stable. The backbore is about a Warburton 4. The thickness of the shank end is about 0.7mm. Although it is a fairly small size, it produces a warm and thick sound when played gently. When you put air into it, it becomes a brilliant sound with a core. It has a certain resistance and is designed to make high notes above high Bb easier to hit.
