I wore this indoors when it was chilly, but it's designed to be worn outside as well. The color is beige, but the fabric has a slight sheen. It has pockets, which is convenient. I don't see any noticeable scratches or stains, but there might be something I missed, so please refrain from purchasing if you are very particular. No stretch, no padding.
