This is an LG PC display that is about to celebrate its 15th anniversary since its release. I used it as a personal PC display for about 7 years, but it finally broke down, so I am putting it up for sale. I have already purchased a new monitor, and I don't intend to fix it myself, so I will sell it cheaply to someone who has the technical skills to do so. The symptom is that the backlight does not turn on. The image appears for about 2 seconds immediately after turning on the monitor, but then it goes completely dark. I checked it with a light, and I could faintly see the screen, so I judged that the backlight or the surrounding circuit is broken.
