Eric Custom is a relatively new brand that offers very high-quality pickups. We are introducing several noteworthy products from that company, and this one has been created to deliver pure Strat tones. The product model number includes "59," so I believe it recreates the sound from the late 50s to the early 60s. The look is also exactly like Fender's Pure Vintage '59 (please compare in the images). It has staggered poles for a vintage look. The coil color is very similar, and it uses German-made enamel wire. The only difference is that the middle pickup is reverse polarity/reverse wound, allowing for hum cancellation in the half-tone positions. If you use half-tone positions, this is better for a more modern sound. Depending on the wiring, it can also be used for humbucker sounds or phase sounds, which is a good point. The lead-out measurements we took are: Neck: 6.0k, Middle: 6.2-6.5k, Bridge: 6.5-6.9k. The magnets are high-quality Alnico V, and there is a thin wax potting. The pole piece spacing is 50mm for the neck, and 52mm for the middle and bridge. Black covers are included. As you can see in the images, it is made very carefully. Accessories include rubber tubing and screws.
