Used for a 14x5.5 inch snare drum. I'm selling the case because I've sold the snare drum itself that I used to keep in it. In my personal opinion, the way this case reinforces protection is different from Protection Racket snare cases. This case feels like it has a firmer core on the drumhead side compared to Protection Racket, giving it a solid reinforcement. The sides use thick fabric, but they don't have a hard core material. I think Protection Racket's fabric is firmer on the sides. (However, Pearl's case is also made of sufficiently sturdy fabric.) The inside of this case is also designed to protect with soft, brushed material and thick cushioning, so I think you can use it with confidence for carrying. The case functions perfectly well (protecting, cushioning impacts, ease of carrying, etc.), but it shows some signs of use, with dirt and scratches on the light blue parts of the case edges. The zipper pulls also have some wear.
