YAMAHA Clarinet YCL-SEVMaster (Made in Japan, wooden model). This clarinet was used by my daughter for two and a half years in her junior high school wind band. She was a regular member of the representative school from Chiba Prefecture and participated in competitions. The instrument's sound quality was recognized by the instructor. Although it holds sentimental value, I am selling it because she has graduated and no longer uses it. It has been carefully maintained and is in good condition. There is a very shallow surface crack on the upper joint (see image 5). It is barely noticeable to the naked eye and does not affect the sound or playing. There are no other cracks, chips, or major scratches, and the keys operate smoothly. The pads are mostly clean, with only one having slight discoloration (see image 6, bottom right). There are no issues with sound or response, so it can be played as is. If you are concerned, we recommend maintenance after purchase. It has the warmth and depth of tone characteristic of wood (Grenadilla wood), and features a soft, core tone typical of higher-end models. It is recommended for those who are serious about continuing wind band or for those looking for a high-end model.
