Product Description This is an antique, all-over pattern fukuro obi (a type of formal obi) made by remaking an old maru obi (a type of formal obi) to make it lighter. The shimmering, elegant cranes are lovely. The basting threads were attached, but I removed them for inspection. ① Product Overview Length: 472cm Width: 30.5cm (Please forgive any errors due to amateur measurements.) ② Fabric Silk, Antique, Maru Obi, Basting threads (removed for inspection) ③ Condition As shown in the photos, this is a remade maru obi with an all-over crane pattern on one side (the te-saki, or hand-held end, uses a different fabric) and a pink fabric with a sayagata (key fret) pattern on the other side. There are some signs of age-related discoloration from long-term storage, but the condition is generally good for its age. This is a recycled item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for something perfect like a brand-new, finished product, or if you are overly concerned about minor details.
