I've had this for about 5 years. It's been about a year since I stopped using it. I've been storing it in my room. After each use, I rinsed it with running water. Since the last time I used it was over a year ago, I'm not sure about its actual fishing performance, but I've never had any damage or malfunctions. The bail, drag, and handle are all in good working order. There's no grinding or scratching feeling. The reeling and bail return are smooth. For those who purchase it, the PE line is still spooled, so I recommend replacing it before use. There are scratches as shown in the photos.
